Not all heroes wear mullet capes.

What happens when you mix a freak lightning strike, the power of rock-n-roll, a few too many beers and good old fashioned destiny? You get an animated show about a hero that nobody asked for.

Meet Thunderstruck. A super-wasted, super human.

“Thunderstuck” is the story of Dan Ribbons, an arcade employee who receives super powers after he’s struck by lightning at a heavy metal concert. It’s your classic zero to hero (but still a zero) story, where Dan must learn how to superhero responsibly.

As the EP, Co-Creator and Co-Writer, I developed the series with Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, and produced a 22-min pilot episode. Our cast featured the voice talents of John DiMaggio, J.K Simmons, Harland Williams, Affion Crockett, and Chelsea Peretti - to name a few.

The series featured rock gods & demons, a dancing bean, a talking sun, a talking fart - and about 100+ more characters designed by Emmy® Award winning Art Director James Mcdermott. Thunderstruck was a wildly ambitious and delightfully odd show that we had zero fun making. Absolutely none.
