Celebrating the revival of an iconic brand.
Everyone knows Fender and Gibson. But ask your coolest musician friend if they know Guild, and you’ll get a look of respect. After years of neglect and mismanagement, Cordoba Music Group acquired Guild Guitars with one mission - return this icon to its glory and build guitars that are made to be played, once again.
A nod to the past, and a leap into the future.
When Guild Guitars began construction on a new state-of-the-art factory in Southern California, their first order of business was to search the globe for all it’s original molds, equipment and rare guitars. After years of legwork and painstaking preparation, we let the world know that they were back, better than ever.
Among the most anticipated new builds was the M-20
Made famous by its appearance on the cover of Nick Drake’s 1971 album “Bryter Layter,” this modest guitar assumed an almost mystical aura - becoming one of the most sought after vintage guitars. Discontinued in 1973, the new California factory started making the M-20 once again.
